Note that the coefficient of the question is 3 times what was originally known:
If 5r = 20; then we have 15r; noting that 15r is three (3) times the 5r; plus we are to add eight (8)
If 5r = 20; then 15r = 60; then, we are to add 8 (because the question asks: 15r + 8):
So, 15r + 8 = 3 x 20 + 8 = 68
So, one would select the answer of 68 from the multiple choice selections.
