Patrick and Bailee, I agree with everything but the conclusion. Since the probability of getting C is 1/2, then the odds of getting C are 1 to 1, and so are the odds of getting not-C. If the odds of getting C were 1 to 3, the the odds of getting not-C would be 3 to 1.
