Do software testers come from Venus and computer programmers from Mars? How can we improve communication between them?

I believe the gap between the two is getting smaller. With methodologies like DevOps and tools like Slack, Jira, GitHub communication between all legs of the project are improving.

More improvement will come with time as more sophisticated tools are introduced, we solidify our methodology and thus increase our partnership with the other members of the team.
