Changes to function rules on graphs

Question

how would a graph of sin differ from the graph of sin⁡ ? Or, how might the graph of  cos ⁡ differ from the graph of cos⁡ ?

sin (x-h) represents a horizontal shift. If it's minus h, then the graph of sin x is shifted h units to the right. If it's sin (x+h), the graph of sin x is shifted h units to the right. Hope this helps!
