First, more information is required. Are you designing an isolated reactor or a reactor system. Are the reactants/products in a gas, liquid, or a slurry phase?
If they are a gas, you could decrease the volume (while maintaining the pressure).
If it is a system, you could add a heat exchanger (with cooling water as the countercurrent cooling medium) right after the reactor.
