Has anyone found a way to design a sitemap in InDesign by importing/plugging in a spreadsheet?

1. Site Plan from any 2D & 3D software can be exported as a scaled PDF drawing.
2. Import the scaled PDF drawing into InDesign using File>Place, and select the file from the browser, then place on the sheet with a single click.
3. Crop extra parts of the plan in Indesign using the crop region window.
4. Done
