How does Wei-Chen change through the book American-Born Chinese?

I also need a thesis for how he changes due to wanting to fit in. I need to write an essay about this analysing the panels, but I need three good examples of how he changes throughout the book. My thesis right now is " The graphic novel, American Born Chinese, compares and contrasts the character and mindset of Jin Wang at various stages of the story by exploring the struggle with self-identity, the motif of acculturation, and cultural hierarchy to convey the fundamental importance of self-acceptance to your identity, as if not done, one will remain physiologically lost and isolated." Please answer it

Hi! Your current thesis is a bit confusing, and doesn’t seem to answer the question. My advice is to take a few steps back. Can you tell me ONE significant way in which he changes? Your first job is to find those changes *in the text*... or in the artwork. :)
