my daughter have a problem she quite not understan.  i got little confused too.  Please explains to us. thank you very much.

 

question:  

Which equation is NOT included on the same set of related facts as

6 x 9 = 54?

 

A.  54 / 6 = 9

b.  9 X 6 = 54

c.  54 / 9 = 54

d.  3 x 18 = 54

 C is the answer. 

54/9 = 6 not 54...

 

a * b = c is equivalent to b * a = c is equivalent to c/a = b is equivalent to c/b = a

 

The last answer is 1/2 of a and 2 times b = c

A and B are simply 6 x 9=54 manipulated into a different form. D takes one half of the 6 and compensates for this by doubling the 9 so as not to change the solution. Therefore the answer is C which is not only not related to the original equation but is incorrect all together.
