Is Azure more secure/trusted than AWS?

I wouldn't make that statement ... both Amazon and Microsoft take their security / performance metrics very seriously. Azure is currently number 2 in the space to AWS (albeit a distant #2).

I think choice comes down to what an organization's enterprise architecture is all about.

If you're mainly using a .NET development stack to build systems, you'll likely gravitate Azure.
