Perimeter of ΔABC = (2x + 4) + (2x) + (2x + 3) = 6x + 7

Perimeter of ΔPQR = (2x) + (3x + 2) + (2x) = 7x + 2

 

So, 6x + 7 = 7x + 2.  Therefore, x = 5

 

AB = 2(5) + 4 = 14           PQ = 2(5) = 10

AC = 2(5)       = 10           PR = 3(5) + 2 = 17

BC = 2(5) + 3 = 13           QR = 2(5) = 10
