This question gives you all the information you need, but you just need to identify the variables.

Two cups, two saucers and a teapot cost $30.20. The cup costs twice as much as the saucer. The teapot cost $7 more than the cup.

Two cups - Let's have the cost of a cup be C

Two saucers - The cost of a saucer can be S

A teapot - The cost of the teapot can be T

So we have the equation for the total cost of everything - which is 2C + 2S + T = 30.20

But they give us additional information: The cup costs twice as much as the saucer, so C= (?)S

And the teapot costs $7 more than the cup so T= ? + C

Now you have variables that you can plug into the 2C + 2S + T equation to bring the variable side of the equation all to one variable. Then you solve for that variable and work your way out from there to the cost of the saucer and then the teapot :)
