Let f(x) = 4x-9/ 2x^2 + 1 find:

 

1) f(-2) 

2) f(x+3)

3) -f(x)

4) f(-x)

For f(-2) just put -2 wherever you see x and solve.

4(-2)-9/2(-2)²+1 = -8-9/8+1 = -17/9

Same thing with f(x+3)

4(x+3)-9/2(x+3)²+1 = 4x + 12 -9 / x²+6x+9+1.........
