To solve this we first calculate the number of blocks walked in 1/4 of an hour.
We can divide 12 blocks by 3 to find this amount which is is 4 blocks.
So, in 1/4 of an hour she walked 4 blocks. We then use this to find the distance for 2 hours.
We we know that there are 4 quarters in 1 whole, so we multiply 4x2 to find the amount in 2 hours which equals 8.
Now we can multiply 8 quarters (of an hour) times 4 blocks (per quarter hour) to find our answer.
She walked 32 blocks in 2 hours.
