I have come across several times reading Chinese that they repeat words twice and then again. For an Instance what is the difference between 热闹　and 热热闹闹　？ what is the grammar meaning when words get multiplied in that manner？

A lot of adjectives can be changed into AABB forms, but not all. When you do so, it sounds more vivid and presents a more compelling picture of the adjective.

There are certain rules that come with it, though. A lot of common modifications for adjectives, like 很, 有一点儿, 太...了, can not be used with AABB form.

correct: 很热闹

incorrect: 很热热闹闹 （X）

correct: 有一点儿安静

incorrect: 有一点儿安安静静（X）

correct: 太开心了

incorrect: 太开开心心了（X）

热热闹闹the tone is stronger than 热闹 ,they have the same meaning.

for example, 干净 clean 干干净净 means very clean 开心 happy 开开心心 very happy
