Here is a Hint:
Multiply the whole equation by t. The result will then be:
ct=3t2+8 (subtract ct from both sides)
0=3t2-ct+8
Now apply the quadratic formula to solve for t.

I would just add that the answer you get for t after doing the quadratic will have some form of c in it
