Choose a law school: that is accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) - In most states, you have to graduate from a law school accredited by the ABA in order to take the bar exam in that state, and passing the bar exam is a requirement for the practice of law almost everywhere. Of course you could always go to law school just for fun; with a decent percentage of graduates who found jobs within 6 months of graduation, and graduates employed in a variety of legal careers, such as small/medium/large firms, government, non-profit, litigation (civil and criminal), banking and securities, public interest, and so much more; and that has a lot of clinical programs because you need practical instruction to prepare you for the real world.
