Henry and Reiko both use 1 yard of ribbon to make bows. Write two different fractions to show that Henry and Reiko use the same amount of ribbon

There appears to be a couple different ways to respond to the statement on the assignment.

They are "both" using 1 yard so it appears the fractions you choose to use should add up to 1 yard; for example 1/2 yard and 1/2 yard, or 2/4 yard and 2/4 yard. Those are two different fractions that show the boys are using the same length of ribbon.
