Molybdenum wire is great for high temperatures, but: Its resistance and power consumption must be precisely matched to your voltage and current supply.
If the wire gets too hot, or you try to draw too much current, it may burn out or the generator may overload. You may need to calculate the resistance of the molybdenum wire and ensure that the power = V² / R doesn't exceed generator capacity.
