I am trying to help my son with this problem but I can not for the life of me figure it out. Please help!

You are having a birthday party and invited 38 people.  Each table you rented only sits 5 people.  How many tables would you need to rent for everyone to have a place to sit? 

 

You would have to rent the 8th table for the remaining 3 people to sit at.
