Find missing in numbers in sequence and out numbers?

 

in numbers:   1,5,13,29,E,F

out numbers: 6,18,42,G,H

1,5,13,29,E,F are the "in" numbers

use the expression 2n+3 to go from one "in" number to the next where n="in" number

2*29+3=61 for E

2*61+3=125 for F

to go from the "in" number to the "out" number use the expression 3n+3 where n="in" number

3*29+3=90 for G

3*61+3=186 for H

It appears that the first sequence is adding 4, then 8, then 16, then 32, so the sequence is:

 

  where n= 0, 1, 2, ...

 

so E is 29 + 16, and F is 29 + 16 + 32

 

Then the out numbers are the sum of the n and n+1 values

 

6= 1+5

18= 5+13

etc
