The easiest way to do this is to graph your two lines using the points given. Remember that a dashed line means that the points along the line are not included, so you have < or >. A solid line means you have < or >.
After you've graphed what you have, with the shading, pick a point in the shaded area, any point.
If the x and y from the point fit both equations, then it works. If not, then try another choice.
