Please help me figure out the quadratic formula

So, the quadratuc formula is

(-b + √(b² - 4ac))/2a, right?

 

a = 3, b = -13, and c = 0

 

-(-13) = 13

 

(-13)² - 4(3)(0) = 169 - 0 = 169.

 

2(3) = 6

 

So, we have (13 + √169)/6

 

√169 = 13, so...

 

(13 +13)/6 = 26/6 = 13/3 = 4 1/3

 

(13 - 13)/6 = 0

 

Our final answers are x = 0 or x = 4 1/3
