f(x)= (x-1) / (x^2+2x-3)

THe function is (x-1) / [( x + 3)( x - 1 )]

= 1 / (x+3)

There is a removable discontinuity at x=1

x=-3 is NOT in the domain of this function.

The domain is all reals EXCEPT x=-3
