subtract

a = 222/12 = 111/6 = 37/2 = $18.50 for adults

c = (180.5-8(18.5))/5 = 36.1 -8(3.7) = 36.1-29.6 = $6.50 for children

12a +6c = 12(18.5) +6(6.5) = 222+39=261. It works
