We are all a little confused by the way you typed in this problem. Usually, triangles are referred to by only 3 letters which are the vertices of the triangle. The one thing that may be helpful is that pi/6 = 30 degrees, and you have a right angle somewhere in your diagram, so you may have a 30-60-90 triangle involved. If 8 represents the side opposite the 30 degree angle, them the hypotenuse is twice as much and is therefore 16.
