Crystal, if this is the whole question, I think it's another "always, sometimes, never" question.

 

Quick--sketch a 4-quadrant coordinate plane graph, and plot the point (2, -3).

 

Now draw a line that passes through it--any line you like. Then do another one--again, any line you like.

 

NOW draw a line that IS vertical. So, now you have a line that's vertical and some that aren't.

 

So what's your answer. Is every line through the point vertical? Are NONE of the lines vertical?

 

Or is it maybe that ... some... are vertical? :-)
