Math and computer tutor/teacher
T = 2k
T+3 = 17 ---> T=14 ---> k =7
So right now Tonya is 14 and Kevin is 7.
IN 3 years Tonya will be 17 and Kevin will be 10.
In ANOTHER 3 years, Tonya will be 20 and Kevin will be 13.
Please clarify the statement: "In anther three years, Uncle Rob will be
three time Tonya's age"
Is that Tonya's CURRENT AGE of 14, or her FUTURE AGE of 20?
In the former case,
At that time Uncle Rob will be 3 times Tonya's CURRENT age right now,
which is 3 * 14 = 42.
So that would make Uncle Rob is 42-6 = 36
In the latter case, Uncle Rob will be 3 x 20 = 60, which
means he is 60-6 = 54.
