Probability story problem

The length of a rectangular pool is 5 meters less than twice the width. If the pool's perimeter is 110 meters, what is the width?

1)write an equation the models the problem using x to represent the width of the pool x=width of pool

 

2)Solve the equation to find the width of the pool. (Note: Include the units, in this case m).
