x/4 -14y=13 x - 56y = 52
-3x-2y/3=7 -3x - 2y = 21
You could solve either way...
You could multiply x - 56y = 52 by 3 and then add the equations together eliminating x and solving for y, or,
You could solve for x from x - 56y = 52 (x = 52 + 56y) and substitute.
I prefer the first method.
