how do you identify the coordinates of four point when given slope=5,y-intercept=-1

help me please i need help with homework

Stacy A.

so if you follow the intercept formula of a line, where y=mx+b, the slope would be m and the y intercept would be be. The therefore, you equation is y=5x-1. You basically take any 5 x-values and "plug" them into the equation where x is. for example, if I choose to test the point where x=6. y=5(6)-1 y=30-1 y=29 (x,y) coordinate = (6, 29)
