If H is the cost of a hot dog, 4H+3.50=3H+6 -> H+3.50=6 -> H=2.50
If R is Rachel's age and M is Morris', R+M=34 or M=34-R We also know that M=R+8, so
34-R=R+8 -> 34=2R+8 -> 26=2R -> 13=R
