l = 10w - 16
A = 1736 yd^2 = lw
Substitute:
1736 = (10w - 16)w
1736 = 10w^2 - 16w
10w^2 - 16w - 1736 = 0
5w^2 - 6w - 868 = 0
w = 13.8 (Ignore negative root. I used the quadratic.)
l = 122
