I am trying to do figure out the problem below. Any help would be great.

Scores on six equally weighted tests are different integers between 70 and 100, inclusive. If the average score on these six tests is 76 and x represents the highest-scoring test, which of the following could be the value of x?

B. 79

C. 80

D. 96

Thank you. I was playing with the numbers for the other answers (it says more than one can apply) and came up with 80 could also be an answer, with 78, 77, 76, 73, and 72 being the other scores. Is there a way to solve this problem algebraically, rather than me having to "test out" numbers that add up to 360. It seems like a lot of trial-and-error work.
