I am trying to do figure out the problem below. Any help would be great.

Scores on six equally weighted tests are different integers between 70 and 100, inclusive. If the average score on these six tests is 76 and x represents the highest-scoring test, which of the following could be the value of x?

6 x 76 = 456

456 - 96 = 360

360/5 = 72

So, the 5 other scores could be 70 + 71 + 72 + 73 + 74, and the x score is 96.

How I did it: I looked for 456 minus a score that would give me a number divisible by 5.
