he went from (0,0) to (7.14) then 90 degree turn straight to (35,0)
he went along the line y=2x, then on a line y =-x/2 + 35/2
0 = -x/2 + 35/2
x/2 = 35/2
x = 35 = x intercept = the point (35,0)
to find the perpendicular line use the negative inverse slope, take 2 change its sign and flip it upside down to get slope = -1/2. then plug (7,14) into y =-x/2 +b to find "b" which then = 35/2
giving the line: y = -x/2 +35/2 Then find the x intercept by setting y = 0 and solve for x = 35, = the point (35,0) where he ends up, due east of where he started
