if 5x-13y=3x-8y then x×x+y×y/x×x-y×y=?

5x - 13y = 3x - 8y
2x = 5y
(2/5)x = y

(x·x+y·y)/(x·x-y·y)
  = (x²+y²)/(x²-y²)
 
Substitute (2/5)x for y:
 
  = (x²+((2/5)x)²)/(x²-((2/5)x)²)
  = (x²+(4/25)x²)/(x²-(4/25)x²)
  = (29/25)x²/(21/25)x²         
  = (29/25)/(21/25)
  =  (29/25)·(25/21)
  =  29/21
