Chris has 24 task assigned to him has completed 17of those on time 4 tasks were completed late and 3 of the tasks were incomplete. Miguel had 29 task assigned to 18 were completed on time,4 tasks were late and 7 were incomplete Laura has 44 tasks assigned to her 26 were completed on time 16 were late 2 were incomplete and Scott has 15 tasks 13 were completed on time 1 was late and one was incomplete. Who completed the most tasks last month?

Okay, so this is a trick question because you have to pay close attention to the details. There are a LOT of numbers here, so you have to be careful about how you use them
The easiest way to solve this is as follows:
Look at the number of tasks assigned to each person. Then look for the number of tasks that each person did not complete. Then follow this equation for each person:
(# of assigned tasks) - (# of incomplete tasks) = (# of completed tasks)
After you get the results, just look for which person has the highest number
Another way is to look for how many tasks were completed on time, and how many were completed late. The follow this equation for each person:
(# of tasks completed on time) - (# of tasks completed late) = (# of completed tasks)
Again, look for which person has the highest number
