I didn't want to give you the answer to this question, but I'll tell you how to set up things...
So, pick one variable. Use that variable for one of the types of coins. That variable represents the number of that particular type of coin. Then, to represent the total value of all of the coins for that coin you chose, type the value of the coin next to the variable. One example: if you were solving for pennies, and used the variable X for the number of pennies, then the total value of all of the pennies would be $.01X.
After you've chosen your variable, define each coin in terms of that variable. One example: if you chose X for pennies, and you had three times as many nickels as pennies, then the amount of nickels would be 3X.
My advice, to get you started on this question:
Use X as your variable.
Use X to represent the number of quarters.
The total value of the quarters would be $.25X.
