10^2=w^2+(w+2)^2

100=w^2+w^2+4w+4

2w^2+4w+4-100=0

2w^2+4w-96=0

w^2+2w-48=0

(w+8)(w-6)=0

w-6=0

w=6 cm (width)

w+2=8 cm (length)

P=2l+2w P=2*8+2*6 P=16+12 P=28 cm
