Tara bought a dozen folders. She’s kept 1/3 of the dozen folders then divided the renaming equally among her four friends. What fraction of the dozen did each of her four friends receive?

She kept 4 for herself.

Each of her friends got 2 folders.

 

2/12 = 1/6
