Why is the result of my equation wrong?

The equation I am talking about is:

p²−pq
-------
q²−p²

My result was:   p
                     ———
                       p+q

But, instead, it should be:   -p
                                       ———
                                        p+q

Where is my mistake?

Thanks for your answer. By the way, I don't understand why there's a minus in front of the denominator "p" now.

Just follow the steps in the solution.  Note there is a step where (p - q) in the numerator is expressed as -(q - p).

p - q = -(q - p)

This makes it convenient for cancelling (q - p) in the denominator, leaving a result of -1.
