Three consecutive integers are n, n+1, and n+2. Four times the sum of the least and greatest integers is 12 less than three times the least integer. What is the least integer?

4(L+S) =3S -12

4(x + x+2) = 3x -12

8x + 8 = 3x -12

5x = -20

x = -20/5 = -4 = the least consecutive integer
