The domain is the set of all possible x-values which will make the function "work", and will output real y-values.
So, if you look at the coordinates of the points you are given (x,y), the x values need to be in the domain and the y values need to be in the range.
For answer "a", there are two coordinates with -2 in the x coordinate. Because -2 is not in the Domain, "a" cannot be a function with that domain.
For answer "b", again, -2 is listed as an x- coordinate. However, -2 is not in the domain so it is not a possibility.
For answer "c", all the x- coordinates are in the domain list. However, the y-coordinates 5 and 9 are not in the Range list so it is not what you're looking for.
For answer "d" the x values are 2,-5,10,6,-9. and these are all in the Domain list. The corresponding y coordinates are 0,-2,8, and these are all in the Range list. Therefore your answer is "d".
