In general if y=f(x) then x=f-1(y)
So here y=6x+3 --> 6x=y-3 --> x= (y-3)/6 so that
f-1(y)=(y-3)/6
The original fcn. f(x)=6x+3 is 1-to-1 so the inverse
is single valued and is a function. (Also, you can
see from the expression for f-1(y) it's just a straight line.)
