asked 09/19/145 + 5 x 5 + 5 = 100 or 5 + 5 x 5 + 5 = 100
I don't know if I should add 5 + 5 = 10 then multiply x 5 = 50 then add 5 = 60 or if I should
add 5 + 5 = 10 and add 5 + 5 = 10 then multiply 10 x 10 or if there is another answer.

Are you sure you copy this correctly ? Where does the 100 comes from?
This is a problem is a Order of Operations problem. So, you do the operations from LEFT TO RIGHt, starting with Parenthesis, Exponents, Division or Multiplication from left to right, Subtraction or Addition from left to right. This is better known as PEMDAS. There is a caveat, a warning. You DO NOT always add before you subtract, it depends on the problem. If subtraction comes first as you solve the problem from left to right, then subtract.
For this particular problem:
P: there is no parenthesis.
E: there are no exponents
M/D from left to right. Multiply 5*5
A/S from left to right. 5+25+5
So this what you should have
5+ 5*5 + 5
5 + 25+ 5
35
Hope this helps you out. :)
