how do you factor a trinomial with 3x^2. I know how to do problems like x^2, but not when there is a constant infront of the x^2

Example: 3X^{2} + 5X +3 (3X + 2) (X + 1)

Sometimes the coefficient on the squared term can have more than one way to be factored.

For example 8 can be 1*8 or 2*4

Consider

8X^{2} + 11X + 3 = (8X + 3)(X + 1) and

8X^{2} + 10X + 3 = (4X + 3)(2X + 1)
