Algebra question about equivalent equations.

which of the following is equivalent to 5/(x+2) = 8/(x+4)?

a) (-3x+4)/(x^2+8)
b) -5/(x+4)
c)(-3x+4)/(x^2+6x+8)
d)(-3x+36)/(x^2+6x+8)

(btw / means over because they're fractions)
I got x=4/3 in the original equation but I m not exactly sure how to approach this problem. Am I supposed to plug in 4/3 as X or i don't know can someone please explain on approaching this please because I have no clue. :)
