First of all, divide the equation through by 3 => 3x + y = 6
and then subtract 3x from both sides => y= 6 - 3x => y = -3x + 6
This is slope intercept form with slope = -3 and y intercept = 6...the slope is the coefficient of the x term and the y intercept is found when x = 0.
P.S. the general form of slope-intercept is y = mx + b
