If so, then consider your overall satisfaction with your career. Money and other benefits are extrinsic motivators. Educators and employers usually look for intrinsic motivators. Regardless of money, someone who is not happy about his or her job will not likely maintain such career. Try to think about what it is about this career that makes you happy.
