The domain is the set of all the abscissas (x values, or first elements of the ordered pairs):
{12, 11, 18, 19, 13}
The range is the set of all the ordinates (y values, or second elements of the ordered pairs):
{2, 10, 0, 1, 4}
The most general way of defining a function is by stating the set of ordered pairs which make it up...and if it is correctly a function, then no two ordered pairs will have the same first element but a different 2nd element.
