A cyclist rode 3.75 miles in 0.3 hours. How fast was she going in miles per hour?

I don't understand this problem.

Phillip, divide 3.75 by 0.3 for your number in mph. If I drive 60 miles in 4 hours, I was driving 60/4 = 15 mph.

so if i got 12.5 would it be 12/5

London, 12.5 and 12/5 are not equal. Unit rate is per one "whatever", so it's 12.5 miles/1 hour, otherwise known as 12.5 mph.
